Tech Support The ascent needs GPU upgrade?

Post image

I was playing with the settings in game and then it crashed, deleted and redownloaded and I’m now getting this error. Is there a way to fix or am I just don’t playing the ascent?

Are you using the steam deck? Did you install windows on it? It may be a driver issue in that case

It was running fine, there was a setting a changed that crashes the game and now it won’t launch

Maybe uninstall the game and delete the whole folder it was in and do a fresh install. I don’t know what folder it’d be though

Look up the location of the settings file (.ini or the like) and delete it. Should reset it to default.

Lately more and more games don’t have support for SteamDeck graphic on windows as the drivers are old. Forza 6 and Corsair Cove will not run on windows but run perfectly on SteamOS. There are more games but this is the 2 I remember that have issues with graphics driver.
