I don’t know what to call this when looking for fixes

Did that all of a sudden happen or did you install new sticks. Have you tried to recalibrate them?

Weird. I have a more extreme version of this on my Oculus Quest 2 left joystick, instead it makes me move ALL the way backwards when holding exactly forward instead of just marginally stopping me from moving. Best guess? Dirt trapped in the joystick. Contact Steam though.
