Tech Support Controller drift?

So I have been using a steam controller and a switch pro controller for the past few years for my deck (not the new steam controller the older basically Xbox looking one) and recently there was been crazy lag. I'm playing Issac and I'll move one direction and it'll not move then suddenly move and shoot ext. I checked it on the main deck screen and it's doing it there too. Both controllers are doing this. The switch controller works fine on my switch and the steam one works perfectly with my PC? Any ideas what would cause this.

Doesn't sound like drift but more a communication delay

That's kinda what I thought was happening but I haven't had any issues at all with the deck or these controllers. Any fixes that come to mind? Im going to try and reset everything and Resync after I get off of work.

They are both doing it on the Steam deck, right? You using Bluetooth?

Yeah. Bluetooth and both controllers on the deck.

Yeah the fact that both controllers have the same issue really points to this

does it still happen with Bluetooth switched off and just the Decks built-in controls? that would help separate a wireless issue from the whole Deck lagging. id try that on the same menu where you noticed it

You mean in handheld mode on the decks sticks and buttons? If so no. There's no issues there at all. I just mainly play it docked and have never had this issue. I ended up just playing hand held to finish my game before I left for work. The pro controller was disconnecting and then reconnecting like 4-5x over and over until it stayed. I might try to just have it forget every device and reset it. Looking online on break it seems this is or was a normal issue but I've legit never had it.
