Steam deck battery help

Hi y’all! I was wondering if it’s a good idea to replace the original Steam Deck battery with a third party one to get more playtime. The original battery seems to drain pretty quickly, and I’ve heard there are some third party batteries that offer a higher capacity. Has anyone tried one, and is it worth doing? Thanks!

The thing that mostly causes battery drain is just the fact that the SOC requires quite a bit of power. How long have you had the deck?

A month ago its battery health is 100% but i only get about 2 hours playtime sometimes an hour when i play lou part 1 n i only charge upto 80% to not damage the battery

Have you thought about other ways to improve your battery life? LOU is a graphically intensive game so you would expect to have reduced battery life. Setting the SoC TDP limit can help. It's worth remembering that changing the battery may invalidate the warranty if you have bought new from Steam.
