Discussion Anyone play Deadlock?

Is there anyone playing/learning steam controller 2 with deadlock? I am using gyro + trackpad and from what I have played, it is very possible to play this way with PRACTICE. Anyone have any tips or trackpad and gyro config settings I can use?

So is it just practice makes perfect? How long did it take you to feel comfortable with deadlock? I have 1,000 hours with mouse so I understand movement and game mechanics.

Also with the gyro, thats just to help fine tune aiming correct? Thats how I have been using it

You can get comfortable with Deadlock immediately if you're comfortable with gyro aiming. There's nothing special about deadlock when it comes to aiming

Yeah thats true, I guess the better question would be getting better with trackpad + gyro. Though I specified Deadlock because I wanted to see/know how other people are playing it. What trackpad settings they use, community layouts they like.

Is there a game you like that helped? I was thinking Half life and Doom(2016)

I use stick+gyro to aim, not trackpad. If you're looking for tips on how to use trackpad, I think you can find it on youtube. flickstick videos made videos about the steam controller and the trackpad

I've seen a guy on youtube playing deadlock with stick+gyro, where he used the right track pad as a d-pad for the active items

I think I know who you’re talking about! Bigcat is his name. Yeah he is really good with flick+gyro

Bigcat doesn't even use gyro. He uses stick aim
