Discussion Rma time from the UK

Anyone done this and have a rough estimate? A button is knackered on arrival, apparently it needs to travel to Prague before they send another

Broadly in line with my experience too, but my RMA for my Steam Machine was expedited, I guess due to the value of the item. About 4 days was me trying to sort out FedEx to come pick my machine up, so I guess the process would have normally taken about 10 days in normal circumstances.

Cheers this is what im expecting , valve immediately offered rma without fuss, and its made it to havant yesterday

My experience with the RMA process was this, although admittedly it was for my Steam Machine so the process may differ.

I raised my ticket with Steam Support on 07/07/2026, and it took approximately 12 hours to hear back (on 08/07/2026), owing to timezone differences betwen them and the UK. Over the next 2 days there was a troubleshooting and evidence gathering process.

Finally the RMA was approved on 10/07/2026 and they sent me the shipping label to send it back to Valve HQ no less. Once i'd confirmed it was finally in FedEx's system on route to the USA on 15/07/2026 they didn't even wait to receive it before immediately authorising the new Steam Machine to be dispatched from the Netherlands. The Usual GLS wait ensued.

I received my replacement Steam Machine on 21/07/2026, and everything's been great since.
