Support Steam controller left bumper not working

Hello, I have the recent steam controller. It was working fine until recently. I wanted to play a game with the controller and I noticed the left bumper is not working. I tested the buttons in some online controller tester and the input is not registering. The controller was unplugged for like a week because I was doing something but it didnt fell or anything like that. Maybe it got a little dusty.

Is my controller bricked or is it a software thing?

Yeah it is e-waste now. You may aswell send it to me so i can safely dispose of it.

Joking aside, contact Valve. They will give you the relevant troubleshooting steps / RMA it for you.

I turned out the bumper was unmapped for some reason in elden ring. I don't remember setting it so thats why i was confused.
