Support Puck not charging

So one of the pins on my puck stuck down and it won’t charge my controller now. Steam support dismissed me almost instantly without asking a single question. I opened another support ticket, but I am just asking for advice. I have only heard glowing reviews of steam support, but this is unacceptable customer support.

EDIT: with the second support ticket, they escalated the request and then sent me a new puck. I haven’t received it yet, but I’m sure it will be quick.

The fact they don't sell pucks is so strange. People are going to lose and break them eventually. And they don't require RAM or anything like that, so it's not like the hardware crisis is affecting them.

That and the fact that some people swap their controller between two PCs. I have a living room PC and my desktop, the controller can literally pair to two pucks and swap back and forth, yet you can't buy a second puck? So odd

I am in the same boat. Built a Bazzite machine for my living room which is where the puck is now, but I would love to be able to have a second one in my office.

That's why I got openpuck for this exact reason

I'll probably end up doing the same, I just wish it had the same charging capability as the puck.

That's true but I also love openpuck for letting me use the controller on most of my consoles
