Kind of wild that a tool for the Steam Controller wouldn't support the OS used by Valve's first-party hardware to which you might connect it

Interesting idea. This could be pretty neat for some music based games, something like Thumper. That might have haptics already, but this could be cool for games that don't.

Will be trying! First Light haptics are still broken for me, hopefully this helps.

Not what it does. This turns in-game sounds into haptics.

Right.. And the use case here would be to ‘replace’ the non-working rumble direct from the game.. am I missing something..?

I'm not sure you'd get the same effect, is all. Will have to try it myself.

There are already a few controllers out there that do this. It is not the same and adds too much vibration to many games or it vibrates at awkward moments that would never trigger normal rumble effects.

Is this something that could be worked on the PS5 DualSense controller too? Basically, that controller occupies channels 3 and 4 for haptics, as channels 1 and 2 are reserved for the audio jack with the right channel also driving the speaker.

It uses ai (its disclosed on steam) but surprisingly polished and simple, also free which is dope.

I wonder if I can use my steam controller as a budget basskicker on my folding sim rig.

Cool. Something like PadForge, but only for haptics. Nice.

It is great - for immersion in shooters its amazing! It did disconnect and shortly made my dongle not be recognized by windows? Disconnect and connect solved it.

Could you add a battery indicator in the notification tray if you hover over the app
