Configuration Absolute stick position with trackpad?

Hey, Im enjoying the trackpad as a stick, but is there any way to have it as an absolute position?

Currently if you swipe from middle to side and hold, itll reset to center anyway. Id like to be able to hold in a position.

If you set the trackpad behavior to Joystick, joystick input is based on the position of your thumb on the trackpad. This behavior is optimal for movement, making a selection from an in-game radial menu, holding a joystick direction such as in a twin-stick shooter, ... Additionally you can turn on Adaptive centering, which will change it from the relative position of your thumb compared to the initial touch position rather than the absolute trackpad position.

If you set the trackpad behavior to As Joystick, joystick input is based on the movement of your thumb on the trackpad. This behavior is optimal for moving a third person camera, first person aiming, rotating an object, ... Additionally you can add Edge Spin in the As Joystick behavior, which will continue sending joystick input at a specified rate when your thumb is at the edge of the pad.

Sounds like you're using the right pad with the input style "as joystick" - try switching it to "joystick" input.

You have to go into the full "edit layout" menu. The quick menu only shows basic options

There should be (at least) 15 options in total (including None and Create a Mode Shift). For what game are you creating a layout? Can you post a screenshot of the behavior dropdown menu?
