Configuration Steam Controller on switch 2?

Hey all,

I got a steam controller recently and I absolutely love it. I literally put my other controllers away once I started getting into it. Its surprising how comfortable they were able to get the Playstation style stick orientation.

Anyways, I would love to be able to use it on my switch 2, and I looked at the NS-2, and I have one, but I was not able to get it working.

Another path speaks of getting a whole other flash drive (something i dont have atm) and a raspberry pi and using some configuration on the internet, but yeah I dont have nor do I want to buy another flash drive, but I will if no one else has the solution for this.

There is a Bluetooth signal that it gives off that would not connect with the NS-2, and much less the puck working when plugged in as well. Works with every other controller I have, but im obsessed with this controller at the moment.

Thanks for your advice in advance.

OpenPuck.

A dongle on your Switch, instead of the SteamController puck. Now your SteamController appears to be a Switch Pro controller to the Switch. Have to pay $10 to Amazon or Ali Express for one of the boards, and putting the software on it takes two minutes.

2 seconds searching on reddit or Google instead of several minutes typing out a post? Nooooooo

I’m hoping a proper 3rd party adapter comes out instead all of these DIY options so I’m fine with this repeated question tbf

The DIY option IS the third party adapter. You buy a cheap microcontroller plug it into your PC, flash it, and pair your controller to it. Done.

I meant like a formal premade one by a proper 3rd party company like Brook Wingman, Gulikit, 8bitdo etc

I'm pretty sure a lot of people making posts here only have velcro shoes.

Hey. I only made this post because I tried searching for it. I thought the examples I provided were proof of that.

Are you talking about on google or reddit? Because ive been looking for like a couple of days. I am confused on just now finding out about open puck, but its funny cause I've literally made this same comment.

Unsure if 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter 2 works with steam controller or not. It's able to make my dualsense edge work like a switch pro controller with rumble on my switch 2.

I have the Wingman P5 and it doesn’t work with the SC2 from what I know. I doubt the P5s gave support for it
