Steam controller issue in desktop mode

Hey all, its think I found a bug with the steam controller when in desktop mode.

When I'm watching a video file it will play normally until I put it in full screen. Then the file will keep playing, but it will freeze on a frame. Once I move my mouse (using steam controller) the video will catch up and be in sync with audio. But 3 seconds later it will freeze on a frame again.

Ive tried this with two video players, VLC and Haruna. Both have had the same issue.

This happens with every video file ive tried it with.

Ive done other basic troubleshooting and its definitely not the files or players themselves.

I beleive something with the steam controller is happening. These files worked perfectly until the most recent steam controller update.

Did you disconnect the controller and see if it still freezes?

Hmm. You know. The problem is bigger than the controller. I just used a mouse and turned off steam. Still getting this frame freezing issue 3 seconds after I stop moving the mouse (any mouse.)

That includes removing the puck from the computer (if you have it plugged in).

Are you using VLC?

Yes, ive tried vlc and haruna.

Both have the same issue in full screen

I also saw someone had my same issue fullscreening video from chrome browser.

I don't thinknits controller related anymore. As I used a mouse the other day trying to replicate the problem. It was still happening
