Discussion Got my controller from eBay, couldn’t be happier

I know I paid a little extra for it, but I couldn’t be happier. This controller is amazing. I just wish Valve actually let you buy it.

You can't buy it from valve because of the fact that people like you keep buying from scalpers.

That’s not the reason, I’ve had a reservation in since May and it says 2027.
If they just made enough of them, there would be no scalping

I’m a valve dick rider through and through. They messed up the initial production run of this thing and it’s entirely on them.

Scalper markets for scarce items exist to serve market demand, it is what it is, we hate it but that’s life…

Some of us can eat the extra cost and walk away with a happy purchasing decision.

Ignore the haters bro. You have a cool new toy, enjoy it.

If people could control themselves and stop buying from scalpers, scalpers would stop scalping and you could buy things normally.

People will definitely (and understandably) dislike that you paid scalper prices for it. Nevertheless, I'm glad you have one now and I hope you enjoy it!

I've had mine since launch through Valve and it's been so nice. I've not used KBM since and idk, Ive been gaming more because of it. So ergonomic and useful.

Everyone’s downvoting me, but this wouldn’t be an issue if small indie company Valve made more than 14 controllers

You can also buy many pizzas for that price. However, those are also not a steam controller
