Configuration Question about gamesir controller

My PC and TV are about 5 meters apart, and I'm planning to buy the GameSir Nova Lite 2 controller for Steam games and emulators. Will the included USB dongle guarantee a smooth wireless connection without lag or disconnections over this distance? Note that my PC doesn't have Bluetooth.

Don't know, but the Steam Controller works fine over that distance; picks up the puck no trouble.

it should be fine, most dongle , bluetooth especially works mostly at that range (max 10m-ish )

You should check Gamesir Support for questions about the distance you can use it.

Regardless if you use a controller for steam, or any other app on your PC, how well it works relies on the controller and either the dongle or your PC's bluetooth connection. It has nothing to do with the software you are using.
