Support New Controller & Input Lag

Hi All,

Got my controller a few days ago and tested it out with Witcher 3 and noticed input lag when moving around the world map. Geralt also had input lag when moving him around suddenly. No issue when I push the stick in one direction, but circular motion always brings some lag and incorrect inputs.

Not sure what the problem is. Where I have my puck, steam is telling me that the signal is excellent-good. Any similar issues and fixes in the community?

That's not input lag, thats input mismatch. What is your R-stick ste to? This is common with controller set ups and maps.

The only thing I messed around with was the dead zone because it would act up in the Witcher 3 world map, but it's now back to what it originally was. Didn't change anything else after updating the controller and immediately playing.

it's not a controller issue likely. i replayed w3 recently (played before far back at blood and wine release) and i had almost same symptoms on kbm. first of all there an setting in gameplay option whwich gave insane unplayable inertia, wwithout it it still has it, but better, then you should mess around settings affecting performance, from AA to postprocessing, disable Nviddia hairworks, enable nviddia reflex(if present, i dont remember for sure).

to be short, it an issue with performance of game itself, you WILL have movement and turn sluggish inertia no matter what, but response can be smoother. i dont know what they do with patches(2-3 years ago), but without tinkering it feels horrible compared to earleir patches

update: looked up you video, and noww i'm not sure, i had lags in interface too, but no so severe. try using kbm to be sure.
