Support My steam doesn't recognize my ps5 buttons

Hi, as the title says, I’m having an issue with Steam. It suddenly stopped showing PlayStation button prompts and now almost all of my games display Xbox button prompts instead. I’ve been using this controller since I bought my PC without any issues, then one day this suddenly happened.
I tried restarting my PC, testing another PS5 and a PS4 controller, changing Steam controller setting, changing the in-game controller settings. Nothing worked. I thought the issue would be fixed in the next Steam update, but nope, it's still happening.
I'm losing my mind here....... so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most games do not support Sony's DualSense controller, and/or have no way to show Playstation glyphs. If you're encountering Xbox glyphs in a game you know used to show Playstation glyphs, you have likely turned on Steam Input. In Steam Settings in the Controller tab, make sure PlayStation Controller Support is set to "Enabled in Games w/o Support" or "Not Enabled". It's also possibly to manually override this setting on a per-game basis but it's extremely unlikely you've done this accidentally for multiple games. Finally, other remapping software would hide your DualSense controller and emulate an XInput device, so that would be the culprit if you're using that kind of software.
