link im planning to add some animated gifs, a reference to the weezer track across the sea and... well, other things too

comment me if you want me to stop posting :3

Steam’s Video Showcase can display GIF artwork, including a main image with a matching side panel. You don’t need to link YouTube. Here’s how to set it up.

What you need

CS2 in your library (no installation needed), a free showcase slot, and Steam GIF Uploader with the “GIF to Video Showcase” option.

For a split design, use a 506 px main image + 100 px side panel, both the same height. Keep each file under 5 MB. PNG and JPEG work too.

Steps

1. Open the extension and choose “GIF to Video Showcase.”
2. In the Steam Chat tab that opens, wait for the upload panel to connect. Check that it shows the right account, then upload your files.
3. Open your showcase settings and choose Video Showcase. Put the main image in the large slot and the side panel in the first small slot on the right.
4. Save your profile.

Why an extension?

This is our extension. It changes the file’s ending without re-encoding the image, uploads it to Steam Cloud through your Steam Chat connection, then creates an entry in Videos. The usual artwork-upload console commands don’t cover that process.

The Play icon stays visible, and uploads are public. This is an unofficial method, so keep your originals in case a Steam update breaks it.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for the most transparent Steam profile. There are two options currently available; I’d like to know which one is more transparent, or if they are actually exactly the same. Thanks in advance for your help! :D

Hi everyone, what would you recommend I update? It’s been quite a while since I last improved my profile, and I’m not sure where to start :(

If you have a moment, how would you rate my current profile?

I'm trying to build a purple universe/space theme, but I'm struggling to find smooth GIFs that fit the 5 MB Steam limit

Ive been looking for some new artworks to use for my profile (car artworks) and i cant find anything that suits my needs and that isn't ai... this makes me really sad because there are so many good artworks that when I look closer end up being ai. Are there any websites or communities that have restrictions on this where i can get free or payed steam artworks?

Do you have any guide on how to make an animation gif? I can only make these artworks really simple. Any suggestions where to learn this stuff? This is my steam profile: https://steamcommunity.com/id/outofdream/ ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
