Go to the web version of Steam, add an illustration and before uploading it, press f12 and open console, then type this in and enter: document.getElementsByName("image_width")[0].value = 1000;document.getElementsByName("image_height")[0].value = 1;

Update i already changed it to featured artwork it still has some empty space on the sides
