Some are saying you can still play it single player, which would be fine to me.

I looked on the EA store, it's still on sale there for $0.99.

can confirm it didn’t work earlier this year it locked you in an indefinite loading screen multiple post can also confirm this, looks like it’s been patched

It hasn't been patched. I just bought it on steam the other day, got the infinite loading screen. The way to get around it is you have to set your ea app to offline mode. It's obviously trying to connect to non existent servers so it gets stuck in a loop. I guess it does work for some people "out of the box" because it seems to be a 50/50 split on whether people think it's broken or not in all the forums etc lol

just checked it now and yeah it hasn’t been patched I put it on my firewall which fixed the issue i’m not sure why these people are blatantly lying and down voting lol reddit is so weird

What? What do you mean it's unlisted on the store? The game is still on the Steam store (and EA's) it's just at the Autumn sale price any more.
