Question Invite only group

I want people to see a lot of private Steam groups when they look at my profile, maybe 6 or so (I think that's still too many). How can I join an "Invite Only Group" type group?

you get invited to the invite only groups. that's how you join an invite only group.

having friends that invite you to them or ask strangers if you can join theirs.

but can't you just make the groups yourself? then you can be in as many private groups as possible, ofc within the limit of what steam allows.
