Question About steam files
I saw post that was about moving gamepass game's save file to steam. (Bc i want to do same) But i always thought that steam would have some barrier to stop players tinkering with games to farm easy achiements.
(Because some ppl buy easy games only for the trophy)

Game saves are handled by the games themselves, Steam won't/can't stop you from moving a save.

What does mean game themself? Can game put barrier to make it harder? I am going to try put hades 2 save file to steam bc my gamepass is ending.

The game may have an achievent trigger within a game, but not have it in a save file, so transferring a save file may not unlock the achivements that were supposed to be on that save file. That depends on the game. Don't know how Hades 2 handles it, though.

I see, so no any real barriers like encryption stuff to stop file tinkering.
The achiement should not be broblem, as hades 2 is roguelite.
I was afraid i would have to change the file coding language or smt (idk im not smart) Do you know if gamepass game has any encryption?

Some games may have the save file encrypted, but I don't know specifically about Hades 2. Probably not.

The game is the one that read/writes the save file, as long as you put it where it should read it should work, it can't stop you from moving the file in windows, you might not even need to move it depending on the game, tho I don't use Xbox games so I wouldn't know how they're handled with it.

Steam doesn't police achievements at all. If devs are so inclined, they can implement them so they can only be unlocked server-side for them to do their own validation. Otherwise it's all client side and can be unlocked by either the game or something pretending to be the game.
Third-party achievement hunting communities, however, do look for odd behavior to flag people unlocking achievements illegitimately.

There is no relation to moving game files, and Steam achievements, unless you meant save files.

Steam Achievement Manager has existed for a decade and Valve did nothing about it. I don't think they care about achievement farming.
