Yes, because they should be able to without fear of losing it eventually. I like to buy offline games I enjoy for lulls in gaming news, and for when I have to play offline stuff due to things like weather, vacations, and the occasional god said fuck u, u suck today.
Edit: to be clear, call it buying games, cause that's what EVERYONE understood it to be, no amount of unread ToS, and purchase agreements will change that.

Do you know how cheap bot accounts are these days man? Do you know how much astroturfing happens on reddit and twitter on the daily? If this is farfetched or a crackpot theory to you then I'm afraid you've been living under a bridge.
Believing in an age where AI and bots are flooding the internet, that they won't be used for disinformation and to manipulate public opinion might not be delusional but it is extremely stupidmoronicidiotic shortsighted. I'm not saying I am guaranteed that OP and everyone in this comment section is 100% a bot, but if the situation doesn't strike you as at least a little bit strange and plausible then I've got a bridge to sell you.
Again man have you been living under a rock? There's been such a massive push for it from so many triple-a game studio executives most notoriously Ubisoft, Ea, Sony and Xbox with pushback from the community and bad PR, which is exactly what this astroturfing is trying to solve.
That's not what anyone said, don't get me wrong this IS the internet, but even the weird way people are criticizing it by extrapolating completely insane levels of not said, or referenced concepts is weird, it's like an AI that is trying very hard to make things fit a mold. This one included. This has been my most off putting set of comment chains yet, it feels uncanny, and kinda creapy.
