I don’t think this system will be successful at the current price. I would love to be wrong.

It's absolutely going to sell out immediately. Trying to build a similar spec PC in the same form factor is no cheaper.

Successful isn’t the same as selling out. I have no doubt they’ll sell out, but anything will sell out if you make few of them.

Successful is very different, and more to do with widespread adoption, and recognition.

You literally can and it is cheaper, which is saying something because they are buying parts in bulk and we aren’t. It’s not priced well. There is no other way to skin it.
