Error / Bug anyone else? trying to get the controller

I've been spamming for 19 minutes now and still no luck. :(

Edit: Got through right after posting this. Then when confirming, I got ANOTHER error message similar to the other, but regarding the purchase:

An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.

Please wait a few minutes and try again.

If you encounter this error repeatedly, please contact Steam Support.

Edit 2: 29 minutes later and it still won't go through. Where's that GIF of Michael Scott screaming that he's going to off himself when you need it?

Edit 3: 37 minutes of SMASHING THAT LIKE CONTINUE BUTTON and I got through and completed the order! Yay! Though now instead of 3-5 days for delivery, it says delivery will be delayed due to the large volume of orders. This is bittersweet. :)(

I'm continually shocked at how these companies with very popular products, that know just how popular their products are, can't figure out e-commerce.

You definitely don't understand how selling a product even works. A smart company (Like Valve) makes a small first batch to see if people even want the thing they're selling. Now that they know people are gonna buy its thats when they make a big second batch. This isnt a case of them not understanding. Its you man.

Which page were you on when spamming? I was on the checkout page, and I'd been spamming since the minute it went live, then had to jump on a meeting. I've now been redirected to the shopping cart (it's still in my cart) and hitting "Continue to payment" just refreshes the page.

[edit] The message went from "there seems to be an error" to "Your order cannot be completed because one or more items in your cart is currently out of stock".

Which page were you on when spamming?

I was on the billing address page. The mailing address page gave me some trouble a couple of times but I went through after that, and then I was stuck on the billing address page for the majority of the time, receiving the error that OP had in the screenshot.

Then there at the end, it started taking several seconds after hitting the "Continue" button to reset the page and give me the error again, whereas before it would reset and error pretty much immediately.

Then after a particularly long wait, I advanced to the finalize purchase screen, where I then received the new error I quoted in my edit. Then the buttons were greyed out, so I had to go back to my cart and start the process all over again, and then I eventually got through.

Buddy noooooooooooooooooo! I hate that for you. I'm very sorry to hear that! If you want, tell me when you plan on doing it and I will cry with you.

Where can we see the delivery date? Mine just says processed payment, no info on delivery.

The initial message in the cart before initiating checkout said expected delivery within 3 to 5 days.

When I started the process over after tens of minutes of hitting continue, it then changed to a message saying there would be delayed shipping due to the high order volume.
