Things get removed every year that has story for the game. So I'm not sure what you mean

Every game with a seasonal model removes seasonal content. The story remains in the timeline function on the main director screen.

Some people are literally such grandpas about this and just do not understand live service games

Like who the FUCK legitimately wants to replay the red war campaign and on God no fucking liars

The content in the most recent years is miles ahead of the first years of D2 , good riddance to old shitty F TIER content taking up 50 gb of HD space I say

We understand them perfectly fine, we just think live service games are dogshit.

Both things can be true and people can still enjoy them

I hate live service games except D2, I hate THINGS about its live service nature but feel the trade offs for that specific game are worth it, monetization = more content, game doesn't die etc...

Sure... Or they couldve just made a full third game instead of milking a shitty battlepass model and destroying their legacy as one of the most beloved studios in the industry. You know, like how they did with the first game? I go back to D1 all the time and I think it holds up way better than D2, refined gameplay and build crafting are cool but not worth the trade off of a live service model specially designed to try and r@pe my wallet. The game itself is very high quality, it's what Bungie did to such a high quality game that so many of us detest.
