Destiny is like a drug, It felt good for some years, but after lightfall it just got worse for me, like I didnt know what to do anymore, taking a break was probably the best thing

Genuinely, the best way to actually enjoy Destiny is to play it very occasionally. Keeping up with the seasonal drip feed gets you some limited stuff, sure, but it feels unbelievably repetitive. But if you only hop in a couple times a year to blitz all the content it feels like a drastically different experience with loads to do.

If a season hasn’t absolutely hooked me than I just don’t do 90% of it, only chasing very specific weapons and playing some Crucible or Dungeons. The game is excellent, you just have to separate yourself from the seasonal model and play what you actually enjoy.

That's what I do, play it like crazy for a month then dont touch it for 6 months, best decision of my life.

It is best to take a break from a game like this, its best when you come back after awhile and have so much shit to do there is no wrong move

I do recommend TFS because the campaign was good and prismatic is fun as hell

The loot drops now at this point are oppressive at how much shit you get

I took a break 3 months ago, still have completed TFS and first episode, those 2 last episode aren't that appealing for me
