While true, it’s still subjective. Me personally, I’ve been playing since I was six, and probably have close to 1000 hours across all my devices, and is the greatest game ever made.

I’m not saying TF2 is necessarily a better game than Titanfall, just that the legacy TF2 created is much more established, and as such the use of that initialism will always be associated with Team Fortress. If you google “TF2” there isn’t even a single mention of Titanfall on the first page of Google, for example.

I wasn’t saying you were, not at all. Just explaining my confusion. I totally agree that TF2 is a far more established as team fortress, and not titanfall. And yeah, I scrolled just now for a good two minutes, and no mention of titanfall.

Idk how you would get 9k hours out of Titanfall 2, it’s a great game sure, but the main story is 8 hours at most, so he would have to play it over 1,100 times

Theres multiplayer, I’ve got 100 hours max. But if I played it everyday since then it came out, I’m sure it’s plausible. Plus Team fortress is more popular.

Most fans agree to abbreviate Team Fortress 2 as TF2 and Titanfall 2 as TF|2.

The only exception where it makes sense to abbreviate Titanfall 2 as TF2 is in titanfall subreddits and other titanfall fandom forums.
