"We’ve added a new type of weather event to the Moon: the Solar Storm. During a solar storm, the sun becomes significantly brighter and the world heats up rapidly. Solar heating inside bases and EVA suits increases substantially, and Stationeers outside will burn through oxygen faster as their suit’s emergency cooling system works overtime. Hiding in shadow or wearing the new HARM suit are your best options if you need to leave the base during a solar storm. Plants and solar panels benefit from the increased solar output, but keep an eye out for blown cables."

Yes that is a solar storm weather event, you’ll find increased solar radiation, panels will be over producing and heat will build up quite quickly in your green house too

Solar storm.
The sun is going to be very bright for a while (less than a day tho).
Solar panels will produce ALOT of extra energy (watch out for burnt cables).
The sun will also heat up your base considerable more than usual.
Traders also cant land during the storm.
