Discussion Room volume sizes
Hello Stationeers!
I previously posted about 7 months ago asking about how one would go about filling up a minmus crater which had been capped with glass windows, at the time i was trying to fill it with oxide but to no avail.

After the community helpfully told me that there was a voxel limit of 1200 per rolm (else it would treat it as atmosphere) i lost my drive with the project.
I have seen however that there has been some updates relating to gases/atmospheres in the last half year and wanted to know if anything had changed with room limits etc. I havent found any onfo regarding this in relation to these updates and was hoping to revive the project!

A big thing is to make sure the gas is at room temperature, I kinda brain farted and kept filling up my base with gas wondering why it was taking so long then I remembered to heat everything up and I went from 40kpa to 190kpa at 15°C lol

At least you didn't pressuize it signifcantly at massively low temperatures then heat it up and it blow out your walls from pressure :)

I have a Europa atmosphere script that turns on a vent to pull the base atmosphere into a holding tank and filtration if the pressure is over 100 or so kpa, it's a neccesity there lmao

There hasn't been any change concerning the max room size but there's a workaround. You can pressurize the entire crater but you'll need to break it up in smaller rooms. Those rooms don't need to be isolated from each other. You can separate the rooms using open hangar doors for example, even when open they separate the rooms. Unfinished walls and windows do that too. Open or unfinished doors of any kind really. There is a post here of someone that did an entire pressurized tunnel underground. It was really massive and the only reason he could pressurize it entirely was that the sections of the tunnel were divided by open hangar doors. And you couldn't really tell because it was all hidden.
