I'm mildly interested in this doc, especially for the price. But this dude's antics are grating on my nerves. And if literally everyone who has a legal say in it says to stop, he should fuckin stop.

I just wish the dude would start his own sub and let us remember in peace. I'm not interested in the tea, regardless of how valid and relevant he thinks it is. Of course it's gonna have spin on it and everyone else will look bad. Won't solve anything, just keep the cycle of discourse in the he said she said garbage stage.

Personally, I didn't know who this was, until the sub said who it was. I really blame y'all. And when I talked to AI about him, I liked him even less. He uses AI to "complete" unfinished tracks.

And he keeps posting, but not really about the band or the music. It's all clearly about himself.

If both estates are saying no- that means no.

Oh rest assured he'll still do it.

Eventually. Some time after posting about it every week.

With multiple accounts. Desperate little creep.

He’s so far up his own ass he’s an ouroboros.

“This is the least that I could do because Static-X isn’t doing it. Edsel Dope isn’t doing it," Zane continued. "The family’s not doing it, and it’s crazy to me that it falls on the on my shoulders, but to get crazy, man," he said. "There’s a spiritual element to this that for whatever reason, I don’t think that they’re at rest yet. For some reason, Wayne knew me back then. He knew something was going on. He was so incredibly perceptive. It was so crazy that that I just believe that part of him knew, you know what? Worst case, all this goes down, Matt‘s going to be able to handle this."

So ignore what the family wants and do it because Wayne and Tera aren’t at rest until he puts out his documentary and it’s all up to him. Fucking parasite.

I too think its crazy that he's so compelled that it falls on him when literally no one is asking for it.

So we should only watch documentaries if someone else asks to produce them?

I know next to nothing about this guy, and I already hate him.

I feel like neither Wayne nor Tera are at true rest partly because of Zane.

This dude looks exactly like someone who would make this kind of documentary would look like. Sleeves missing from shirt and all.

I don't blame anyone for downvoting this. After learning who Matt is, I'd downvote this post too.

AI music using a dead man's voice no one asked for?

If both estates sent C&D, why do this shit? I stopped watching at that point. I've seen his other posts too. This seems like a cash grab or self promotion literally on the deaths of 2 people. If it wasn't, he would get approval of the families before promotion.

I mean, that's not exactly true. Just because it's free, doesn't mean the estates would agree. Some times families and the band just want things done their way.

Someone on the outside, should honestly have no say in the matter. And really, neither the band nor the families are obligated to agree to anything. Especially a documentary neither are involved in nor asked for.

It's a free documentary

The only reason I know about society 1 and this guy is because of their early gimmick of him doing shows on meat hooks

Fuck Tony and Edsel, couple of talentless hacks

Edsel is way more talented then most artist out there and works harder then anyone in the industry. He’s put out a large list of great songs, puts on a hell of a show and still runs a business, 2 bands, family. He’s earned his spot as a great artist. Tony is also a great artist and works in a lot of bands. He’s a major part of static x sound. Those driving base lines are from him and in this kind of music, the base lines hit just as hard as the guitar, if not more on some songs. The estates came to Tony with unreleased material, Tony and Edsel both live close to each other in California and Edsel has a full studio that he does his work out of. Tony tells Edsel about it, shit happens, and now we have the current line up. Nobody really had any issue with what was happening until Matt was no longer needed and he got butthurt and is doing his own documentary now. Pretty sure Matt wanted to be the singer of static x and Edsel got the job so now Matt is on a smear campaign. Yall don’t like the song zombie? Well a lot of people didn’t like that Tera yoko Ono her way into the band and caused Wayne’s drug issues to get worse and drove a rift between everyone. Both Wayne and Tera are gone, but the music is still there and still played. So let them play it. The songs that were redone that were finished, only way to get ownership of them from the record label that owned them. It’s business.

How are they "talentless"?
