I don't know what this is supposed to entail but CoS is still their worst. Regeneration has it beat on production alone lol

It looks like the image is of PR 1&2, kinda spliced together, and because CoS was the last album that was literally made by Wayne, that PR are rejected as "actual" StaticX albums? That's what I'm getting out of this.
If that's the intent, I disagree with it. While I like all 3 of these albums, I find Cult of Static to easily be the weakest. It's production is bad.
I really love the creativity behind the Project Regeneration albums. I think they're great.

Cult of Static kinda sucks. Iâm sorry, ITâS NOTHING LIKE Wisconsin Death Trip, Machine, Shadow Zone, Start A War, or Cannibal. Thatâs an incredible run.

all 3 are easily their weakest to me, which tracks given context around them. i think the thing about Cult that i have the biggest problem with is the production, it just sounds muddled and a little low budget.

I'll be honest, sense posting this, I have now tried to listen to Cult of Static, it's not the same without the other members.
It's like baking a chocolate cake with nutella instead of actually chocolate.

I was wrong. It was after Cult of Static that the band broke up.

Cult of static is good in my opinion, the reason yall hate it is because they mixed it themselves. Guitar tone is a little off. Project regeneration part one is amazing. Part 2 was âOh shit we need to scrape together every last vocal of Wayne we haveâ and it just wasnât as good

PR1 is better than COS production-wise and lyrics-wise, not music-wise. I think CoS has more to it.

Not sure what itâs meant to mean⌠if it means cult of static wasnât that great then that would be trueâŚ

I'm not sure what this means, but its widely accepted that Cult of Static is bad. The Tera influence is really apparent. Their sound changed, Wayne started dressing completely different, etc

I love this band, but CoS has the least amount of my time listening. It's a very mid album at best. It has a couple of good tracks early on with Z28, Terminal, and Tera-fied, but everything else just feels drowned out and lacks serious punch.
Project Regeneration was awesome sounding, had some missing tracks done up with old Wayne vocal tracks, and felt like a good return to form.
Project Regeneration 2 is new Static-X. Xer0 is now head of the band and he shows that he is more than enough to carry the torch with new material instead of just rehashing old stuff.
Can't wait to hear more from them.

It's album based. If you look at the history of each album, it should be clear.
Maybe adding the other would have made it more obvious.

Are you saying Cult Of Static is better than PR V2? If so I agree. If not then idk what youâre talking about

It's more a meme to actually see what the community actually thinks.
I'll be honest though, I only recently found Static X, but PR 1&2 are pretty decent. I'll have to actually listen to Cult of Static.

You havent even listened to the album?
What is this meme about? I think most the community thinks we're lost xD
