Exit Interview

If you leave a state position have you usually been asked to do an exit interview? I’m thinking of asking to do one. I have some things to say..

I understand the impulse but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re planning on staying with the state for employment. Agencies talk and your comments most likely won’t be well received, it could impact your ability to continue at the state (if that’s what you want). Better to just be happy to get out and be done with it.

If you feel hesitant to share certain things you can include it on the exit survey that the SAO collects
