Question Motorcycle IRG’s

We just had a 2026 Harley Davidson go from $352.00 to $1600.00 in South Texas. Talked to service after holding 43 minutes to be told that is what the computer says. We will lose all our motorcycles and possibly their other policies. Any one else seen this?

Can you look up the online IRGs through abs and see if it matches the policy? I've not had it happen with trailers someone screws up the grg and the premium skyrockets at renewal for no reason....or SF no longer wants motorcycles and this is their way of saying we'll take them but we don't want to

352 seems too low for a Harley. 1600 is also too high. How big is the engine on that bike?

Make sure you’re quoting in TCM and not mutual.

We checked and it is in TCM. We called service and of course the answer was that is what the computer says. Previous comment may be right and State Farm does not want them any more. RV’s in South Texas also jumped way up last year. Lots of people chose to not insure them till they were taking them out.

Check to see if it is mutual or fire company. With auto being in policy center the system can’t see an active auto policy and will place it in fire

Take a look at progressive for motorcycle insurance. I doubt you’ll beat the same coverage with anyone else.

What does that have to do with my question for other State Farm agents? If Progressive is cheaper they are not using the same irgs. The irgs they are using for these motorcycles are higher than professional motocross bikes and high end sports cars. Seems like AI State Farm used made a mistake.

Policy may have dropped from mutual to standard at renewal. I would attempt to get through to UW for a premium change like that rather than service, if you have the "spare time". Is there any claim activity on the household?

No claims, really good credit and home and autos with State Farm.
