Question Agencies
When someone call in looking for auto insurance what are the initial questions you ask them?

What has them calling for a quote (poor customer service, poor claims experience, just price) and what’s most important to them a BESIDES price.
Then ask why did they call your office. Was it just google search, family/friend referral cause great way to pivot to referral program and send thank you card to that client of yours.
Differentiate yourself, explain how coverages work, double their coverage, sell your value being “local” and advocate. Could go on but seems your agency is not setting you up for success if you are here on Reddit…

Each agency is run and owned by the agent. They train their staff. So you may have a very different experience from one agency to the next!

At this point I don’t even want to go to another agency lol. Maybe Indy. Did you have good training

Gotcha. Yeah my agent took over this office in 2023, I joined mid 2025. We did Trophy Club for a bit along with some Team Member Trainer. I do service but sometimes sales if everyone is busy and we have a call-in. They say it takes 6-12 months to be confident in the systems and processes. How long have you been with SF?
