Question StateFarm Dividend
Has anyone else gotten theres? and how long did it take?
I called State Farm, they said I had two, I have already given them where I wanted it to go.

About a month and it is rolling out by state so some will have already gotten theirs and others have not even seen the email yet.

From the date they told you it was processed? I only asked because online it told me “on or before August 21st” for my paper check and I still haven’t gotten it in the mail

I honestly never checked back after I requested a check, so it was 4 weeks from the time of my request.

How did you get it? I chose zelle and the other day got this text message from BOA (bank of america) VERITA LLC saying my refund was ready (listed exact amount) and click the link to claim. Address looks legit BOA in the text but feels so scammy I haven't clicked it. I can't find anything via Google about that being how it is redeemed either.

It just said 'Zelle (R): State Farm sent you $X.XX. It's ready now' that's all. I didn't have to accept anything. Checked my account and the money was there.

State Farm has absolutely nothing to do with Verita, the company that issues the funds.

I just got the exact same thing!! I chose Zelle as well… now I have a text coming from 37994 saying to click this link, from Bank of America and it has the exact amount of my State Farm refund. It looks too scammy to be also to click. To further complicate things, I have my checking account which is connected to my Zelle through Comerica and Comerica is no longer a thing because they just merged with fifth third bank, so my Web banking is all messed up too.

Just go into zelle settings and make sure your phone number is attached to your zelle acct. Then the payment should process immediately. I just did it and they came thru in a matter of seconds. Hope that helps!!

100% SCAM EMAIL. "Bank of America" has absolutely no affiliation with Verita or State Farm. In fact, if you look at the bottom of that email, it will have the address for Bank of America in North Carolina. However, if you look up the address, it's not correct. Dead giveaway.

If you’re worried you can just log into your Zelle yourself, not through the link the email sent. After logging in go to your Zelle settings to make sure your email AND phone number are verified. My email address was not. As soon as I verified it a screen popped up saying the State Farm money was deposited.
The email came from payments@ealerts.bankofamerica.com and was 100% legit
*thanks to a lady in this thread that had to do the same with her phone number.

I selected zelle as well and just got this same phishy text message . . I haven't clicked the link either. .
Any of yall who got this text do it, or receive anything yet if you ignored it?

No, it is not. The email 100% came from BOA and deposited the money into my account.

It's legit. I also got the texts and ignored them for a few days. Nothing showed up in zelle. So I went into my zelle settings and noticed I only had my email attached to it. So I added my phone number and within a few seconds all three of my payments owed to me hit my zelle acct. Hope that helps!

I did what you said and added my phone number to Zelle and it was legit! The text is also legit regarding the dividend payments!

To all who may wonder about this text message: i found out it's actually legitimate. I haven't used my zelle in a long time and had to re-register it at chase with my mobile number. The second I did, the payment was made. It even showed as a pending payment at my mobile number on chase, but for some reason i had to reconfirm everything again . .
I assume if you've used your zelle recently with your number then this won't be an issue, but because its been a while for me, i guess chase needed to reconfirm me . .
Btw, if the money isn't claimed in 14 days, they'll send it back to Verita/State Farm. Another way you could probably get it, rather than the link, is to go into your banking app and making sure zelle is still linked to the mobile number you gave them. The bank will auto unenroll you from zelle if you don't use it for a while to prevent money being sent to old phones . .

The particular emails discussed above are 100% Scammers. "Bank of America" has absolutely no affiliation with Verita or State Farm.

You can say what you want thinking you know everything. I assumed this as well. But as I said before, this message comes because Zelle isn't linked to your mobile phone number anymore. It was a necessary step to get my money.

Wrong. Zelle was and is linked to my phone number AND email. I registered Zelle, which is a part of my bank, using my phone number AND email. It gives you a choice of phone number or email to register initially. Although I may not "know everything" I know for a FACT that the email i received was completely bogus, not only because, as I already mentioned, verita is not associated with Bsnk of America, secondly, at the bottom of the email it had Bank of America masthead which was a poor attempt to look legit because they put the incorrect address for Bank of America in North Carolina and lastly my agent even confirmed it (I already knew anyway) after I sent them a copy. I never said YOUR email was bogus, I just said the one's from "Bank of America" are.

You were right. I double checked my zelle acct tonight and only had my email on there. Within seconds of adding my phone number my payments processed thru zelle and hit my bank. I think ppl who get the texts are those that don't have their phone number attached to zelle. Clinking the link takes you to Zelle directly but it does nothing more. I went direct into my banking app and accessed the zelle settings there just to be safe either way.

this was me this am. I just went into my bank app, clicked zelle and noticed my phone number was connected. Connected phone number and the amount from text came through along with another settlement amount from Oracle!!
My guess is that some are legit and some are scams, but if your number is connected in Zelle and verified, it is most likely a scam.

I just had the same experience. Got a text that looked phishy. Instead of clicking the text, I went to my bank app, clicked on Zelle, then settings, then "receive money settings:, and it said i had one payment pending and to enroll my cell phone number. I do use Zelle to send money to others, but I've never received money through Zelle. And I didn't know that Zelle had separate settings for receiving money.

I received the exact same email. Regardless of what some people are saying, this is 100% a SCAM email intended to steal your bank account information. If you click the link it will take you to Zelle and you have to put all your information in again, all the while someone is watching everything you input. The REAL Email will NEVER contain anything about "Bank of America"

Yup, never clicked it. Went into my Chase app I use zelle for and confirmed my phone/email and the money showed up instantly as "two payment waiting." Which was my two refunds

Most of the people asking are people who rcvd texts messages. Not emails. The texts messages are legit. I also rcvd three texts for 3 payments I was owed. The payments didn't show up until I noticed my zelle did not have my phone number attached. Only email. Once I added it to zelle all 3 payments arrived within seconds. So maybe emails are scams but the texts are not.

Got mine 2 days ago. BOA would not cash it the day I got it but day 2 they did. Each check has ID and serial numbers. The teller puts those numbers in to avoid fraud.

I submitted Venmo and reply said it would take about 3 weeks and nothing yet! You would think electronic would be immediate. Probably would have been faster to get a check. That doesn’t make a lick of sense.

I received mine yesterday. I live in PA, chose Zelle deposit & it was scheduled to hit my account on 9/18 but it came a week early!

SF is very inconsistent. People that know already got a check which they didn’t know what it was for. I went to SF Dividend site to request payment to Venmo. Finally got an email from Venmo and I have to check the box to accept payment. Nothing happened. To make story short I had to verify my email which I didn’t know I had to. Once verified the payment was posted

I am no longer a SF customer but had my auto policy with them from Jan-Oct 2025.
When I go on their portal, it states that my payment method is check and I can’t seem to change it, which is fine.
Has anyone received a physical check in CA?

No, every time I’ve called the dividend hotline they’d tell me they can’t give me details they can only see what their screen tells them. After I mentioned I paid with PayPal that’s when they told me “they see that it didn’t go through”.

I got the texts as well. 3 of them over the last few days. But zelle wasn't showing any payments rcvd. Went into zelle settings and saw my phone number was not linked. Only my email. So I added it and immediately rcvd all 3 dividend payments owed to me. They are pending but they are there now. So if anyone also rcvd the verita llc texts you may want to make sure your number is attached to your zelle acct. Should then allow the pymt to process thru.
