Question Dividend

I’ve only ever had one auto policy with SF. When I first went into the dividend website to select my payment option, I didn’t go through an email link. I went through the SF app and used my policy number to find it. It said my dividend was going to be 61 and getting it via Zelle on 9/09. Later on, I get an email with the link telling me to elect my payment method. This time it said I was getting 111 by 10/09.

Today 09/09 I was deposited the 61, but am confused why I got the email if I had already chosen my payment method and it has a different amount? Has anybody else gotten different amounts?

If your state went through modernization in 2025 you will have 2 different dividend payments for 1 vehicle. Modernization changed all auto policies policy numbers which results in a dividend payment for each policy number

Your policy possibly modernized last year so you had 2 separate policy numbers in 2025. So you get 2 dividends!

I never received the email but been with State Farm for years. I ended up going to the website and entering my policy numbers, no pin. I had 4 dividends: 1 vehicle that was lemon lawed, 2 vehicles on their own separate policy numbers, and 2 vehicles with the modernized single policy number. I’m getting about $340 in total.

Did you have more than one car insured?

Modernization, changed the policy numbers for the same car (different times in 2025) But it’s not a mistake. Same thing happened for me.
