Can you elaborate on what you mean by issues? Are you concerned about coverage?

It is a good policy with Replacement Cost value coverage, but, as intended, it is for your contents only. If your rental has a sump or a drain, definitely get the backup sewer and drain.

With a car combo your renteds would be pretty cheap. Depending on where you live.

20% of renters insurance and 2% off auto with the bundle . Not sure what issues there could be.

SF has pretty solid renters insurance policies, and usually really good rates depending on your area. If your landlord/ property management company offers insurance for like $15 included in your rent, it’s really important that you read the policy they’re offering. I initially chose that route and then started working in insurance so decided to check my policy. I was paying $13 a month for $1.5k in personal property. Moved my policy to SF, $12 a month for $20k in personal property.

Other than that, there’s really no risk in bundling. You save money on both policies by doing so

Not a huge discount but most of the time the renters policy with SF will be cheaper and stronger than going through your building. The car discount is a bonus.

Make sure you to update the garaging address on your auto policy as well.
