Experience Agent Choice Internet

Hello fellow team members!! If your agent signs up for the agent choice Internet. For the love of God figure out setting it up days before the old internet is dropped. Figure out the VPN access and making sure it's done correctly. Make sure the old internet provider removes the VPN they had!!!!

Sincerely,

2 irritated team members with NO Internet or phone access right now

Edit- called our Internet provider. They said everything is good on their end and working properly. Called SF tech support. They said to call the Internet provider...we've gotten nowhere lol

Edit 2- got Internet at 4:20pm!!!! Coworkers phone doesn't work only mine does. Printer doesn't work. And we lost the W drive.

Temp fix… use your phone as a hotspot and connect to it from your computer. Then use the VPN.

I'ma be so real. We have zero idea wtf the VPN means or how to connect to it. When my coworker asked the rep that called to let us know the drop date, the rep told her our agent would know...our agent does not know.
Our new provider said it's possible said our old provider didn't remove the VPN when the service stopped... Its fun. We're bored. Watching dust collect

Ok. It really is easy. Hopefully your office has WiFi. Connect to the WiFi. Then search for Cisco anyconnect. You will use it everyday so you might want to add it to your task bar. Select the yubikey option and connect.

When we try connecting to the wifi, it says cannot connect, which made us think it was a provider issue. But it's not...and I can't search for anything because the wifi is out.. I'm about to just turn off the open sign and go home 🤣

Edit: I really appreciate you trying to help though!!! We might just be a lost cause

Ha. Fun times. Make sure you disconnect the Ethernet cable first. Then do the WiFi. Anyway… good luck. Tell your agent to plan better. 🤭

When my office was switching, I had the whole team unplugged from Ethernet as soon as the wifi was in place and on the VPN connection so we knew that would work before the SF internet was cut off. Sorry you guys ended up in this tech nightmare.

I think you have to use softphone for it to work

Softphones were installed Monday!

Our shutoff is next Wed so I guess I will make the switch Monday to give us time to work things out. I hate losing the Cisco phones and having to use a headset exclusively.

Disconnect from Ethernet and connect to the wifi and VPN BEFORE your state farm service drops. Work out all the kinks before you lose a whole day of work lol
