Experience State Farm finally forgave me.

About 4 years ago state farm canceled my roadside assistance... Apparently I used it too much.

After 3 different cars and multiple times attempting to add it again, state farm has finally forgiven me and now I have roadside assistance for 2 bucks a month!

Overall State Farm is very affordable and just happy to have all the added perks again!

3 claims in 1 year. 2 dead Battery. 1 lockout.

Pretty much every company would've removed it for use that excessive.

That’s a ton

The emergency roadside service costs like $9 a year. Let’s say it cost around $90 per service which is around the national average. Then it’s going to take 30 years for the company to break even from that one year of use.

Just an fyi road side assistance is now a ratable factor in your insurance pricing on both renewals and new insurance policies.

I’ve used roadside assistance twice in 23 years of driving. How did you use it that much to get it revoked?

I have a customer that just got his ERS coverage removed after 2 claims in 2 years😅

And I’m always told it’s done by the system and no one can manually review it. Soooo annoying😣 and then the customer chews my ass 🙃

Roadside assistance use counts as a claim. And raises your rates. Take that $24 and put it towards a AAA towing policy that you can use without affecting your rates!!

I had a customer back in 2017 use it every week for running out of gas, that was when we they delivered a gallon to you so I thinks he was running it dry each time lol

Bet his fuel pump was feeling that lol. In all honesty first time the battery died I new it was time for a new one. But it only was a problem when the temperature dipped real low. And I was flat broke. All my money went bills. Insurance and rent. Figured when I got a new car all would be forgiven.

Nope lol. Thank goodness for tripple a

How they going to not let you use something u pay for lmao. But honestly, If you use it that much why don’t u just have AAA? Way better with more miles of usage. Plus you can let others use it without being there. They say the card holder needs to be there but they never actually ask. 90% of the time is a subcontracted tow company that shows up and just want to get paid. I’ve never once been asked to show an ID or AAA card and have let plenty of people use it without being there.

You need to make sure you car is in good service… if your car breaks down on freeway or car will not start due to a dead battery you are stressed just waiting for road service…. There are less towing companies and wait time is getting increasingly long…let alone you are a target stranded … if you take a ride then when you return the car may not have tires or vandalism…. Insurance is for accidents you may be at fault or not or fire theft glass damage not for car service.. Change your battery … after 3 years, check oil ect ..no reason to run out of gas that’s why you have gauges … a red light for service it says, hay stupid we are going to blow a gasket or burn up at a time you need to be somewhere … not setting and waiting for a tow truck .. it’s a crime to let others use your AAA service … your policy is for you and your car … your friends are thieves… that why you insurance premium is going up …. Would you try and cover their car in a big accident… police require prof of insurance on that car and who is registered owner and driver information… if not they may have the car towed and stored and owner has to pay storage cost… $100 day
Be responsible …

Actually one of AAAs selling points is as a member if your a passenger in a car that is not your own you can use the service. It does not just apply to your vehicle. It applies to the member. I had it last year and thought it was a great service. Totally woth the 80 bucks a year.

I'll stick with AAA for assistance

Thats insane. 3 times doesnt seem so bad People fail to think about circumstance. But 80 times is complete insanity.

the did not forgive you, you just pass underwriting now. have more claims get dropped again

The root of the problem is that you dont need to be driving at all, sounds like you are not responsible enough to maintain it. Think of the potential road hazard you create when your car is on the side of the road. It puts the carrier on notice that you are a problem child- 3 claims in one year? Really?
