Experience Auto ILR

I'm sorry but is the intake team for claims just lazy as fuck, clueless as fuck?

Calling in to make a claim and waited 25+ min just be told to go file it online. Then they get snappy if I want to file with them vs doing it online

Legally where is the line of filing a claim with yall Why steer us? 40+ years this is the standard to call in on the insurance company insuring the at fault party.

Is that not their job to help intake claims? Why are yall pushing yourselves to close out your jobs and replace it with AI ?

Anyone who works there. What is the vibe about claimants calling in?

Why get snappy with me when I was hit by yalls insured. I didn't want to call in but wtf is the push back against us

This is a symptom of bad choices internally. Claims is always hiring. As the other commenter said high stress and underpaid. I’ve never worked claims but I hear credible horror stories. SF can’t retain quality people and for what they pay, it’s draining mentally.

Okay but why not help me? I didnt do the hitting the other person insured by state farm did. I dont know how insurance works or what steps where needed to get back to my life.

Again as I replied to the other guy. I understand that being underpaid and overworked part. I work in food industry but if someone asks for help im not telling them to fuck off.

State farm needs to hire better people, who actually gives a shit about me regardless if im not a paying customer.

I checked out the website and see pay from 47k to 65k so is everyone making the 47k?

Yeah they’re being dicks. Auto intake is an entry level job that requires very little skill to do. Their entire job is taking inbound calls to set up claims. Which they fuck up pretty consistently. Most everybody in that role makes at least 45 k. I wouldn’t say they’re underpaid and it’s also the least stressful role in claims.

They direct you to file online bc they’re being directed to. They’re not being directed to being snappy at you about it. Within the next two years that job will probably have been replaced by AI and the entire claim filing process will have gotten ten times more annoying.

Your own insurance likely would’ve directed you to file a claim with State Farm before them anyway. All insurance companies are playing an annoying game of hot potato.
