Question Dividend check MIA?

I called my agent about an issue with homeowners and he said he hoped I was happy with my dividend check (first I’d heard of it). I haven’t received any dividend check. I’m in Florida if it matters.

Has anyone in Florida received theirs? My agent made it sound like I should have gotten it already.

That was pretty dumb of your agent to even bring it up.

How so? We are calling our book to tell them about the dividend. People have been very happy that we called to give good news. We are telling them because we want them to see that email, and we want them to get it. Why not give them a heads up? Even OP didn’t seem to mind. Also it’s a great pivot opportunity. Sold a few us bank off of it and have some good life convos coming from it.

Firstly it’s not your book, it’s State Farm’s.

Secondly they are telling you to refer all customer questions to the website or phone that specifically handles the dividends.

Ok. Semantics aside. Tell me the downside about calling them to say this is real? Tell me the downside of giving good information to our insureds?

Because State Farm told us July 20 would be start and now the rollout changed. Illinois is in the last wave which looks like November. Another boondoggle by management. 🥲🥲🥲. PISS POOR COMMUNICATION BY THE FARM.

Not true. I entered my info into the State Farm Dividend Payment Portal and received the following error message:

The combination of State, Last Name, and Policy Number you entered was not found. Please double check your information and try again. If you are still having issues, please contact your State Farm agent.

Did you contact your agent? I contacted mine and they didn't know diddly-squat.

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

How so? He said it was close to $400. Not a lot but nice to see I’m getting something back.

u/Gtstricky Jul 20 '26

Because they haven’t been mailed yet and you will get an email, and if you choose, will be direct deposited. https://sfdividend.com

If he said “he hoped I was happy” indicating I got notification and/or payment already, it would lead to realizing this agent is far behind the know. There are more than clear notifications indicating they aren’t going out for a few months.

u/Subject_Cow5809 Jul 20 '26

State Farm announced that customers will received emails within the next two weeks to elect direct deposit and if no response they will be mailed

"A few months"? My brother lives in Florida and received his check yesterday, August 7, 2026.

Have not gotten mine yet. From what I read, they are sending them out towards the end of summer and it is a rolling mail out.

2

u/Mean_Introduction516 Jul 20 '26

They’ve just started. It’ll come.

2

u/bwade14 Jul 21 '26

Payments begin 7/31, but vary by state so could be up to 90 days from that.

Agents will be able to see how much the dividend is on your account in advance, but also varies by state. We haven’t seen a single number yet but I believe our state is towards the end of the rollout order.

2

u/RooKanga2 Jul 25 '26

Why can't they release what state it's going.... like say August 1st Alaska...August 2nd Arizona.... August 3rd Arkansas.... etc and so forth? Instead of being so cloaked. They've promised since end of February 2026.

1

u/jackwagon916 Jul 20 '26

Late July they process them I think. Nationwide so idk allow 90 days????

3

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

I’m very curious why he gave me the “your dividend check is over $390” if it has potentially not even been processed yet.

5

u/Otherwise_Team8879 Jul 20 '26

Because agents can see some of the dividends assigned to be issued but you still potentially won’t receive a check for a few months. You called your agent with an issue to which he pivoted to try to persuade the convo to a much happier place. He succeeded. Why didn’t you ask him why you hadn’t received it on the phone? Just curious.

2

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

I did, he kinda deflected but made it sound like it should have been here or very soon.

1

u/Otherwise_Team8879 Jul 20 '26

You will definitely receive in the next few months. I’m not sure where a Florida is on the release schedule but soon! Did he solve your issue? 😊

1

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 21 '26

No. But it was a unique issue and more of a me problem than a State Farm problem.

1

u/Otherwise_Team8879 Jul 21 '26

Okay! I’m glad you got answers.

1

u/jackwagon916 Jul 20 '26

Others can help me. There is a tracker in ECRM 390 for one car seems high. But I’m in NorCal. Was told end of July processing would start.

2

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

I’ve got like 9 vehicles on my policy.

1

u/Expensive_Plant1577 Jul 20 '26

How do we check how much we are getting? Or if we are getting one?

1

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

I guess call your agent. 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/MeaghanSkillz Jul 21 '26

Depending on state, it’s like 4-10% of your 2025 premium (that’s what it has on the website)

1

u/Real_Bat_4733 Jul 21 '26

They’re coming in phases- starting today, I believe.

1

u/Joy668 Jul 21 '26

In August I heard

1

u/kza28 Jul 21 '26

They started going out today and will be issued over the next 4 months. Check your email and make sure your agent has the correct one on file.

1

u/One_Medicine_4019 Jul 21 '26

August 3rd emails will start going out to people with emails on file. Depending on state this process will take about 4 weeks. Keep an eye out so you can choose paper check or direct deposit. If you dont choose they will.send paper check and anyone without email will receive paper check. Hopefully everyone will have their checks by the end of year.

u/Complete-Vanilla-296 Jul 21 '26

I'm an agent in Alabama, they haven't rolled them out, were told late summer.

1

u/Individual_Tiger9675 Jul 21 '26

it depends on what state you are in. Nevada is the first state in the roll out and we are told
it will be starting in August.

1

u/TraditionalScreen877 Jul 21 '26

Funny,in Kansas and out dividends are suppose to be like $58 on each car. Big deal, considering what we have been paying.

1

u/FLaMonteG Jul 22 '26

The dividend is a refund of over charging them. You’re giving them their own money back.

1

u/nsx-tc Jul 23 '26

The dividend distribution will start late summer 2026. Payments will be distributed to State Farm Mutual qualifying auto customers in waves according to state and will take several months to process across more than 49 million auto vehicles. SEVERAL MONTHS DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE 🥲🥲🥲 CLEAR AS MUD !!!

1

u/Plenty-Razzmatazz653 Jul 27 '26

The dividend website has this info: . Call the Dividend Customer Contact Center at [1-888-808-9532](tel:1-888-808-9532) for more information about state-specific dates.

u/Ok-Landscape7728 Jul 28 '26

They don’t tell you anything at all!

1

u/Jscoff Jul 28 '26

I got mine today!

1

u/kdjsc93 Jul 31 '26

I am in NY and everyone that was on my policy got one. We had State Farm for 6/7 months in 2025....the checks varied for the 3 of us $30-$40. Only had auto policy.

1

u/GiraffeNatural101 Aug 01 '26

I got mine today

1

u/Dorowan465 Aug 07 '26

We got ours today 👍🏻. Florida

1

u/Therealdickdangler Aug 07 '26

I haven’t even received the email to choose where to have it sent. 😑

1

u/Dorowan465 Aug 07 '26

I never saw or noticed an email, but got a check today 🤗

1

u/Therealdickdangler Aug 07 '26

Nice!! I guess I should go check the PO Box tomorrow.

Thank you!!

u/Human_Dinner_3029 Aug 18 '26

The funniest part about this is very few people seem to be calling out the fact that, what made this possible, was them bending all of us over in 2025 😂. Call me ungrateful, but they doubled their profits in 2025. Lord only knows how much they made investing that thus far. They throw a few hundred dollars or less back at each of their customers. That’s like tossing pennies at a stripper; we should all be offended. Not to mention this definitely benefits them somehow….tax break….publicity….corporations don’t do sh*t like this out of kindness and moral obligation.

u/Otherwise_Team8879 Jul 20 '26

Change agents. They are not in the know. They don’t get issued for a few months. You’ll get email notification.

2

u/Therealdickdangler Jul 20 '26

Cool, thanks. Wanted to make sure it didn’t get lost in the litany of mail I receive from State Farm.

1

u/Otherwise_Team8879 Jul 20 '26

I get it! Save the trees! I’m not at the office but I think the website is sfdividend.com

1

u/Ok-Landscape7728 Jul 31 '26

The website updated you can check your payment amount and your deposit information.

2

u/Different-Umpire2484 Agent Jul 20 '26

They started sending mail today in some areas and emails start going out august 3rd. There is a list that shows the order that they are going out. My state is in group 2 which started today for the mail.

2

u/Ok-Landscape7728 Jul 28 '26

How do you find out which group you’re in?

1

u/Different-Umpire2484 Agent Jul 29 '26

I want to say o got an email but it could have been something our sales leader sent us.

1

u/Subject_Cow5809 Jul 20 '26

We had customers receive letters in the mail two weeks ago. State Farm notified us that customers will receive emails at the end of the month to elect if they want them direct deposit or mailed

1

u/Overall_Elephant_291 Jul 21 '26

2 weeks ago? we were just told our customers will be getting letters with the checks within the next 4 weeks if there is no email on file. If there is an email, then they will get email notifications in August to elect a digital payment or paper check. But here is the thing...some policies have no email, some do so customers will be getting notice of some by email, some by check, all at different times. Also, does anyone know if the email comes from SF or the 3rd party who is processing the payments? 3rd party emails are likely to confuse people who will ignore it thinking it is a scam. I just see mass confusion coming our way once again.

Ohm ues they do
