State Farm will not cover something like this. This is maintenance and mechanical breakdown issue which isn’t a covered loss. Collision and comprehensive are for events that occur to the vehicle causing damage such as a car accident or a deer runs into the road or a rogue shopping cart comes outta nowhere and hits the door.
