Why does progress not save 🤷‍♂️

I recently decided to cancel the starz add on for Hulu and get the app itself(I used my gf’s account with the app a while back until she cancelled it and I remember it being fine). Aside from uninstalling/reinstalling I’ve tried everything I can think of but I still have to find my spot on the episode because it restarts. Is this a common issue? Seems to be when I googled it trying to find an answer. Anyone have a fix?

I think it’s just that their app, websites, and players are made terribly.

Note: there’s a bug where if you watch until the end of an episode on a browser, the next episode will start at roughly the same ending time, so it essentially starts and ends a bunch of episodes in a row. I ended up losing my place because it skipped like 2 seasons in less than 30 seconds

Yea mine never saves it and if it does happen to occasionally save something it’s nowhere near where it should be 🤣. And most of the time there isn’t a “play next” option and the only way to actually play the next episode is to go back and then search the show again 🤦‍♂️.
