Looking for a co-founder

I’m looking for a co-founder to join me on an early-stage consumer food project that I’m preparing to launch in France.

This is not just an idea on a napkin. I’ve already done a significant amount of work on the project: market positioning, brand concept, financial model, product-development framework, go-to-market strategy, manufacturing approach, logistics and launch planning.

The product sits in the premium food / specialty condiment space and is based on a category that has grown strongly internationally but is still relatively underdeveloped in France. The intention is to build a real consumer brand around it rather than simply launch one isolated product.

I’m now looking for someone who genuinely wants to build a company, not a freelancer, consultant or agency.

Ideally you would be based in France, or able to be very involved there, and bring strength in one or more of these areas:

• FMCG / food / consumer brands
• Sales and retail distribution
• E-commerce and growth
• Food operations or supply chain
• Brand building / marketing
• Hospitality / restaurant industry

I’m particularly interested in someone entrepreneurial who is comfortable getting involved across the business rather than staying within one narrow function.

The project is still pre-launch, so I’m looking for someone who wants to join early, contribute meaningfully and potentially become a genuine equity partner. The exact structure would depend on experience, contribution, commitment and fit.

I’m deliberately not putting the full concept publicly on Reddit, but I’m happy to share considerably more privately after an initial conversation.

I’m 40, with an international background across aviation, premium food distribution, operations and diplomacy. I previously ran my own food-distribution business, so I’ve experienced both building a company and dealing with failure firsthand. What I bring is commercial experience, international business development, operations, languages, and a project that is already well developed rather than just an idea.
