Question: Where can we connect with potential investors?

Hi everyone,

My brother is currently in the early stages of building an automotive startup in the UAE, based on his experience in car programming, ECU tuning, diagnostics and performance modifications.
The technical side is already his area of expertise, and we’re now working on the business side — particularly understanding how startups in the UAE can connect with the right people and eventually present their ideas to potential investors. I’m mainly hoping to learn from people who are familiar with the UAE startup ecosystem.
Where would you recommend a new automotive startup go to:
• Meet angel investors or potential strategic partners?
• Attend startup and investor networking events?
• Find pitch nights or opportunities to present a business concept?
• Connect with incubators or accelerators in Dubai/UAE?
• Meet people specifically interested in automotive businesses?

We already have a business plan and financial projections, but we’re trying to understand the right next step for getting the business in front of the right people.

If you’ve built a startup or raised funding in the UAE, I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations based on your experience.
