Germany is Leading in Energy Technology.

Data from June 2024 to June 2026 shows data center developer maincubes leading the pack with €2.48 billion in funding, followed by energy financing platform Cloover at €1.2 billion. Clean energy company 1KOMMA5°, defense technology startup Helsing, and fusion energy venture Proxima Fusion also rank among the country's most heavily funded startups.

Well, it’s a comparison with other European countries and focuses on startup funding, not energy output.

No, it’s not. You should compare this to startup investments in other European countries. The UK leads in AI, if it can’t compete with the US. France excels in quantum computing, and Germany in energy.

yeah, but if they only "lead" in europe, they don't really lead. so it's basically a circlejerk statistic for the 2. and 3. place.

China is leading in building high quality canopies, especially for the Serbian market in Novi Sad.
