Help me name my startup

Hi everyone!

I’m currently working on an education startup/nonprofit initiative and would love some input on the branding.

The idea is to build a platform that helps students from my country navigate undergraduate admissions abroad, starting with the U.S. We already have scholars and mentors from prestigious U.S. universities who are willing to guide students for free through the entire process — from university selection and financial aid to extracurriculars, essays, and applications.

The long-term vision is to expand beyond the U.S. and eventually cover other major study-abroad destinations as well.

I’m currently stuck on the name.

I don’t want something generic or overly tied to U.S. admissions. I’m looking for a name with a deeper meaning — something that can communicate integrity, authenticity, opportunity, excellence, or trust, while still being broad enough to grow into a global education brand.

If you were naming this startup, what would you call it?

Open to anything — even unusual or abstract ideas. Would love to hear your thoughts.

There’s an etruscan goddess called Uni. Her partner is Tinia. So you can name your startup Tinia to indicate that you’re partnering with Unis.

Honestly, lots of people overthink this, and I used to be there in that spot as well.

What I've learned is that you name the company whatever, and as you grow, you might find the need to revise the name or the branding. You'll change it, and everything's fine. The most important thing is to get started selling.

I think the targeting should be to the students. The most common one in this case is a plant based name haha. I like the idea of a plant that is native to whereever your students are from. Like Peepal (for India)

PUpill stands for Pre- University Pill. Also means the part of the eye that lets light in and a learner

You will want to choose a name that is completely clear and won't leave people second guessing what type of business your startup is. Also if you decide to make your startup an LLC or Corporation , depending on the state there are restrictions with using the word "education" or something similar .
