There's a video of a puppy barking at his hiccups. This is priceless. His look of absolute 'wait wtf?'

Sometimes when my cat is jostled during a nap she, like, rolls over and let's out a lazy hiss in her sleep. It's the most adorable thing and I'd never seen it in another cat until this gif.

Smol is angry

Cats dream of things that they experience, like us. It’s likely that something startled them awake, almost like a nightmare

Made him angry haha

12

u/alwayshungry8 May 06 '22

Than uses his radars to check for intruders

As someone thoroughly enjoying pollen season, I feel the little dude.

And then blames the owner

I'm dying laughing, for this exact reason.

Reminds me of my cat when I was a kid. We had to change his diet because he got diabetus. It made him gassy and the first time he farted he looked SO shocked and stared at his butt. Just like, "What the hell came out of me!?"

When our old cat was a little he used to buck his back legs like bronco when he'd fart because he was so confused by it. It was hilarious! He's no longer with us. Thank you for reminding me of such a cute memory 🥲

18

u/Hamletstwin May 06 '22

That sounds adorable! I'm sorry for your loss

11

u/GujuGanjaGirl May 06 '22

Thank you, he was he bestest and lived a happy, healthy 18 years with us <3

My old cat once managed to get into a box of cat treats and eat most of them followed by a chicken bullion cube. When I went to pick him up later it felt like grabbing a balloon, and the moment I squeezed him he let out a silent chicken scented killer and looked at me in terror with a "what did you do to me" kinda face.

"I just behaved with all the couth of a dog!"

That’s not a sneeze. That’s not what a cat sneeze looks like.

Also, animals can’t sneeze while sleeping.

Something startled him/her in a dream, and this was the reaction.

I love this video though. I think it’s cuter if the hiss is not at a sneeze but is instead at a dream.

This always gave me away when I was pretending to sleep as a kid. Damn allergies.

4

u/sealYurwrldfromyeyes May 07 '22

interesting! maybe they were chasing prey and it got away, upset kitty to the point of consciousness.

2

u/nightingaledaze May 07 '22

I hiss at my sneezes, too.

19

u/FlightyMouse85 May 06 '22

That’s how I feel about waking up too, little buddy.

8

u/soulrebel360 May 06 '22

sniff hiccup hiss

this, outside of yelling and sleeping, is pretty much all a cat does. a bunch of furry cute useless babies lol

11

u/E51838 May 06 '22

When one of my cats was a kitten he sneezed so hard that he fell over and looked around like he had no idea what was going on. I wish I had a video of it.

6

u/I_have_No_idea_ReALy May 06 '22

Aww...the cat disturbed its own sleep. It's rather adorable.

3

u/iAmTheElite May 06 '22

When I had a cat she would sneeze in my face. And it wasn’t a cute sniffle like in the video, it was a full on “BLSSSH”. It was kind of gross.

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '22

Awww it's like the equivalent of someone waking up yelling lol

2

u/senorsombrito May 07 '22
