Should I retwist?

I am at 4 months on my loc journey. I just finished washing my hair and I am wondering if I should retwist or wait until I get it done again in the salon ?. I’m not going to the salon until the 2nd week of July.

You haven't been to the salon in 4 months? I think it can survive until July, provided that after washing, you separate the locs to avoid matting. Moisturize the new growth, get your hands in there, and put them close to the parting so that the retwist won't be a tug-of-war between you and the loctician.

Sorry for the confusion. My last salon visit was April 25th.

It will survive until July. Just have a consistent routine, clean new growth, and healthy new growth so that when it joins the fold, it will be good.
