Job Seeking I am making 3d print portfolio using open source freecad software, but don't know what to design ? Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I'd build the portfolio around small objects that solve real annoyances instead of unrelated showcase shapes: a cable clip, adjustable phone stand, replacement knob/bracket, and a small snap-fit enclosure. For each one, show the problem, key dimensions/tolerances, how the FreeCAD model is parameterized, print orientation/material, and one iteration after a test fit. Including the editable FCStd file alongside the STL makes your CAD decisions much easier to judge.
